The lotion pump head is a matching tool for taking out the contents of the cosmetic container. It is a liquid dispenser that uses the principle of atmospheric balance to pump out the liquid in the bottle through pressurization, and then adds the outside atmosphere into the bottle.
1. Structural components
Conventional emulsifying heads are often composed of nozzles/heads, upper pump columns, lock caps, gaskets, bottle caps, pump plugs, lower pump columns, springs, pump bodies, glass balls, straws and other accessories. According to the structural design requirements of different lotion pump heads, the relevant accessories will be different, but the principle and purpose are the same, which is to effectively remove the contents.
2. Production process
Most of the accessories of the lotion pump head are mainly made of plastic materials such as PE, PP, LDPE, etc., and are molded by injection molding. Among them, glass beads, springs, gaskets and other accessories are generally outsourced. The main parts of the lotion pump head can be applied in electroplating, anodizing coating, spraying and injection molding. The nozzle surface and interface surface of the lotion pump head can be printed with graphics, and can be processed by hot stamping/silver printing, screen printing, pad printing and other printing processes.

2. Working principle of lotion pump head
Press the handle down, the volume in the spring chamber decreases, the pressure rises, the liquid enters the nozzle chamber through the hole of the valve core, and then sprays out through the nozzle. When the handle is released, the volume in the spring chamber increases, creating a negative pressure. The ball opens under negative pressure, and the liquid in the bottle enters the spring chamber. At this point, a certain amount of liquid already exists in the valve body. When the handle is pressed again, the liquid stored in the valve body will be rushed upwards and ejected through the nozzle.
3. Performance indicators
The main performance indicators of the lotion pump head: air compression times, pump output, downforce, pressure head opening torque, rebound speed, water absorption index, etc.
4. The difference between inner spring and outer spring
The external spring that does not touch the content will not cause the content to be polluted due to the rust of the spring.
